Living away from home

living away from home

Going away it's hard, it's appalling
sometimes we make decisions that we think they are corrects and we have to bet on those decisions we took to get away; sometimes you miss many things, like your family, your friends, your home, and places you used to go, and all of a sudden there is a burst of thoughts where you wonder if  this is the accurate time to go, because  you let all that stuff back; straight away comes the fear of the future begin to wonder if this is suited to you, if it is better if you stay in your comfort zone, but someone once told me to never get far if you stuck in your comfort zone, you had to take risks and to be willing to try to lose something to gain something  much better.

Still living away from everything you love, does not mean that you're gone forever, you never know what it's like really far if you do not know what it feels like a hug from a family reunion, you do not know what it feels like to think that maybe you spend your birthday without them, miss big suppers with them, or simply not to be when you most need them  or when you need them most, but every sacrifice has its reward right? a career, new friends, new goals, have an open mind, learn new things; this is a
voyage of discovery new things, its a venture, and that's life into an unknown world; make it yours, make it your home.

 Living away from home
undoubtedly teaches you to appreciate more things, shows you who misses you, shows you those friends that no matter how far you are they will not fail you and do not forget you, as well as teaches you to be independent and to fend for yourself. Going away is not bad, is just to live your life and take the necessary decisions to move forward and accept that even if your path is away from home, is the right way if you feel that it is right, and does not matter what people will say about living away from home, does not matter if they think that you are a vague person or a tramp, because there are many people that do not want to watch how you make your dreams come true. If what you're doing is worth, its okey miss something or someone because it is for your welfare. Travel widely and enjoy your life as much as you can.

  1. I totally agree with you beacause it must be really hard to live abroad without any kind of family or friends nearby; but, I also think that it would probably be good for the person. that kind of situations makes people realise how lucky they are to have someone who misses them, and I think that's what the Winnie the Pooh qoute is about.

  2. This is so true, that quote is real. We usually go through life taking for granted important things: family, friends, home... but how many times do we actually stop for a moment just to thank? Being away from home is not easy at all. I'm not talking about the fact we leave our parents' house or about we are not going to see our friends anymore, but independence itself. When we leave home, we close a chapter to open a whole new book of experiences. The fear of being alone in another place. Getting late home exhausted and not having someone to tell the things you laughed about that day, that's taugh. That moment is when we go through memories, we remember that warm room in the second floor of that nice house, where our mom used to tell jokes while having dinner. We're so lucky, we have always been, but we're clueless. Xx

  3. Totally agree! sometimes we don't think how hard is going to be living our home, our family and friends, but in that moments of darkness we you need to think in that decision that could change our life for better, and do everything for be a better person everyday.

  5. This entry of your blog is totatlly on the point. I frequently think about how my life will be if I stay here on Venezuela or if I try to live in another country. Even having some work proposals out of this country, I will wonder if it's going to be worth trying to have success far from the place you belong to and far from your family. I want to live the experience of going abroad but I am not sure about leaving everything behind. As you said, it's supposed to take the thing that I want as a priority. This entry was so inspirational, I hope to make a decision taking into account the following entries.
